Great coffee is also important to us, as is great ethics. So we use coffee beans roasted in Brighton by Skylark Coffee, who are the only 100% non-profit, 100% transparent specialist coffee roasters in the world. All of their profits are shared between the following good causes:

  • Knepp Wildland Foundation: an environmental charity in Sussex leading the way on rewilding, conservation and climate change.
  • The Stumping Project: an African project helping Ethiopian coffee farmers regenerate their coffee trees for sustainable harvests.
  • Pro Baristas: Skylark’s charity project focussed on training young, unemployed people for jobs in the coffee industry.
